In the fall of 2017, a group of graduate students from the Department of Journalism at California State University, Northridge conducted oral history interviews with 24 Los Angeles activists. The purpose of the project was to document the local surge of activism and advocacy in the year following the 2016 U.S. presidential election. While each activist fights for their own chief cause, they all have one thing in common: They all battle against injustice.
